Most of IGSI's income comes from membership dues, yet that does not always meet the needs and expenses of the organization. It is through the generosity of members as individual donors that we meet the goals of the Society. Your tax-deductible contirbutions support the upkeep of our collection, publication of The Septs, and educational and outreach efforts.

IGSI is run by volunteers and completely financed by membership dues, donations, and funds raised by educational events and sales of publications.

IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions If you are age 70-1/2 or older and have an Individual Retirement Account (IRA), you may be able to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA. QCD withdrawals made prior to year-end can be applied toward an individual's Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).
