In the September episode of the “This month at the IGSI” podcast (episode 3 of season 5), genealogist Dave Miller talks about all the IGSI events scheduled as we approach autumn.

Irish Saturday during the month of September will be held on the 12th at the Hoffman Research Library, which is located at the Minnesota Genealogy Center in Mendota Heights, MN. If you’re in the area and have a genealogy question regarding your Irish research, stop by.

The September webinar will feature Jillian Van Turnout. Her program is "Tracing Your Irish Roots: A Beginner's Guide." This program--an online-only session--is scheduled for Saturday, September 19 and will run from 10:30 AM until Noon CDT. Due to a generous donation, this webinar is a free event. All you have to do is register by clicking on the Events tab at left.

Our Social gaggle this month will be on Tuesday, September 22, beginning at 6:30 PM. The gaggle lasts an hour and a half, is available on Zoom, and is open to all with no registration.
