The University of Strathclyde in Glasgow is offering a free online course, "Genealogy: Researching Your Family Tree." The course begins March 14th and will be led by educator Tahitia McCabe. "This free online course will help you develop an understanding of the basic genealogy techniques and how to communicate your family history." The time requirement will be four hours per week over a six-week period. The course description indicates the material is appropriate for nearly every level of experience, and since it doesn't concentrate on any specific country or set of records, "it will be useful to anyone around the world."
