On the shelf
I'm home from DAR Continental Congress in Washington, D.C. This was the organization's 125th Continental Congress -- but my first -- and what a wonderful time it was! One of many highlights during my days there was the DAR Library - a beautiful facility filled with many treasures for genealogical research. I went to Family Histories and immediately looked in the "H" section for Henrichsen.
The blue book in the center of the photo at left was co-authored by my cousin and me in 2012. We donated copies of our book, Retta Belle (Stahl) Henrichsen, Her Ancestors and Descendants, to repositories including the Library of Congress and the DAR Library. How exciting to see it there on the shelf!
