NLI genealogy service renewed for 2017

NLI genealogy service renewed for 2017

The National Library of Ireland (NLI) has confirmed the renewal of its arrangement with Ancestor Network and Eneclann to support genealogy service in 2017. This will be the sixth year NLI has partnered with these Irish genealogy firms. If you visit NLI between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, professional genealogists are available to advise and assist about NLI sources as well as other Irish repositories and online records. We appreciated being able to take advantage of this service on our last trip to Dublin. Read the "What to do before researching at NLI" posting here: http://blog.irishgenealogical.org/?p=4689. The announcement by Ancestor Network and Eneclann also mentions that professional genealogists are available to respond to inquiries by email, telephone or letter. While I don't find contact details about this offer, you could try sending your question to NLI's Genealogy/Family History: genealogy@nli.ie.
