A day's travel itinerary could not get any better than what we experienced yesterday on IGSI's tour of Ireland. After leaving Belfast, the first stop of the day was 1) a hike near the Giant's Causeway and hearing the mythical story of Finn McCool, followed by 2) a narrated walk along the Derry wall with Michael Cooper and his extraordinarily interesting commentary about Irish history and the "troubles" in Derry, and topped off by 3) dinner with noted genealogist Brian Mitchell. Michael Cooper is Derry's only Blue Badge guide.
