The Nolan Clan has asked us to share information about their gathering planned for 18-20 September, 2015, in County Carlow. Following are excerpts from the emailed announcement sent to Nolans (and families with other variations of the name including O'Nolan, Nolen, Nolin, Nolon, Nowlan, Nowlin, Noland, Nowland, Knowlan, Knowland, Knollin): ...You may come from a long line of Nolans. Tradition has it that the ancient home of the *Clann Ó Nualláin* is in County Carlow, Ireland. ...We are of course looking for new people and we would be delighted if you and your family did join the Nolan Clan.  The family motto is "One heart, one way".  Our primary focus is on good fellowship, promoting the Nolan family heritage and having fun! The next *Clan Gathering* is September 18th, 19th & 20th  2015, based around the Seven Oaks Hotel in Carlow. September is a great time to visit Ireland and Carlow.  The strong US dollar and sterling make Ireland a great value in 2015. The *Rugby World Cup* commences in the UK on Sept 18th and the *National Ploughing Championships* start in Ratheniska, Co Laois, on Sept 22nd. You would have to be from Ireland to understand the appeal of the Ploughing, it is beyond normal rational explanation!! ...We would be delighted to see you in Carlow next September or (for you) to bring new skills and stories to the Nolan Clan.
