Occasionally we hear from other bloggers. Mark Orwig was the most recent. He emailed us a link to his blog posting, "Genealogy - Ultimate Beginners Guide":   https://www.smarterhobby.com/genealogy/. Orwig covers a wide range of topics on the subject, and the contents of his guidance are nicely summarized on the first page.

It's always worthwhile - regardless of one's experience level - to review what you know and what you think you know. Just for fun I also clicked on "Guides" at the top of the home page to see his other advice about "how to get up off the couch and engage in something productive that stimulates your mind and body." Orwig clearly has varied interests! Geocaching? I didn't even know what it was. If you're interested in the hobbies of geocaching, metal detecting, coin collecting, rock tumbling or model trains, Mark Orwig's blog is a one-stop reference point.
