This month IrishCentral began running a series titled "What county are you from?"

The featured counties are appearing in alphabetical order: Armagh, Cavan, Down, Kildare, Laios, etc. with the latest (today) being County Roscommon.

"All the basic facts and interesting trivia," is how the feature is described. Entertaining tidbits including common surnames, famous people with county roots, brief history, key attractions and more. The articles probably won't help you hone in on your county of origin, but you will find them entertaining.
