Are you new to family history research? Would you like to learn more but find it difficult to attend genealogy classes due to distance or cost? Do you know a young person who's expressed interest in family history and you want to help get them involved? Are you responsible for conducting classes in your history/genealogy organization? A new, free website is available to meet all these needs and more. While not sponsored or endorsed by the LDS Church or FamilySearch, The Family History Guide is intended to help one learn to use resources like FamilySearch, Ancestry, Findmypast, MyHeritage, etc. Links take you directly to popular search pages, as well as to tutorials, articles and videos. Seven projects feature skills of learning and doing. Two men with backgrounds in education, Bob Taylor and Bob Ives, created The Family History Guide. If you answered "yes" to any of the opening questions, read more here: http://thefhguide.com/introduction.html.
