A link to the digital version was emailed to all members Tuesday evening; a printed copy will arrive shortly in general members' mailboxes.
This quarter's theme is Military Records. You will find an informative assortment of articles including guidance about U.K. military research from writers such as Sheilagh Doerfler, Evva Housley and Lois Mackin. A handy table summarizes all military sources mentioned in the issue. Topics on the lighter side include an account of heroic Irish/Scots-Irish participation in the U.S. Revolutionary War plus a review of Andrew Kane's Townland Atlas of Ulster.
Note this issue is Volume 46, Number 3, which means IGSI has been publishing its quarterly journal for 46 years! If you're a member, you have online access to articles in The Septs clear back to 1981.
