A few years ago, an IGSI readership survey revealed that members wanted more coverage of immigration-related topics in The Septs.

The October 2026 issue, arriving early next month, answers that request with articles including:

• "Irish Migrations to Canada: New Impacts for Historical Paths"
• "Beyond the Passenger List: Select U.S. Records for Tracing Irish Immigrants After Arrival"
• "The Imirce Digital Collection: Irish Emigrant Letters and Life Stories from North America"
• "Understanding Scots Irish Migration"
• "A History of the Irish in Argentina"
