The Minnesota Genealogical Society shared this announcement:

"Santa brought the Hoffman Research Library (HRL) an exciting new gift for 2022. Beginning January 1, you will be able to access Newspapers.com in the HRL. You can now search 20,000+ newspaper titles from nine English-speaking countries, all 50 states, and 3 US territories.

The Newspapers.com™ viewer is a powerful tool that lets you explore a newspaper page in detail, clip a page or article, and print, save, or share what you find. Search for obituaries, births, and marriage announcements. Give context to your ancestors' lives with social and lifestyle pages, national and local news articles, sports coverage, advertisements, entertainment, and fashion pages

Please come in and visit our newest resource. Then watch this space [mngs.org] for other announcements involving new databases for 2022."
