We don't have to "re-invent the wheel" here at IGSI. There are many wonderful blogs out there, and among the best is Irishfamilyroots.com by genealogist Donna Moughty.

Each Monday Donna posts about a topic of special interest to Irish researchers. Last week she started a series called "Best Genealogy Sites for Irish Research."

John Grenham's Irish Ancestors site, found at Johngrenham.com, was the first she featured. As always, Donna provides a comprehensive explanation about what information can be found. She uses excellent examples and effectively slips in helpful cross-references to other websites. Don't miss this series! Start right now by reading her June 22nd posting.

Coincidentally, both Donna Moughty and John Grenham will be presenters at the Virtual Celtic Connections Conference 2020, a not-to-be-missed opportunity to learn from the best Irish and Scots-Irish genealogy experts. Read more about the July 31-August 31 conference and register here.
