If you’re reading this blog, you’ve found your way to the new-and-improved, soon-to-be-formally-launched Irish Genealogical Society International (IGSI) website. Welcome!

Our goal for this blog is to post tidbits of useful information on a regular basis. Items posted will always (we hope) be of interest to family history researchers, but there will be a strong emphasis on researching Irish ancestry.

My name is Gigi Hickey, and I'll serve as editor of this blog. Some of the tips I share may come from member volunteers at the IGSI library, plus there will be occasional postings by IGSI guest authors. So it will truly be an IGSI blog, giving you full benefit of the experience and resources of the Irish Genealogical Society International. I invite you to check back with us frequently.
