Have you entered all the surnames of your Irish or Scots-Irish ancestors, or do you have just a few more to enter? Did you discover a cousin you didn't know you had? Do you have a story to tell about making a connection through IGSI's Surname Interests tab?

We are very close to 500 surnames! April 2019 was the one-year anniversary of our new website and the beginning of the new feature.

Get the most out of your IGSI membership! Please enter your ancestral surnames if you have not done so. Reminder: you will need to log-in and enter the information on your Profile Page.

Click Surname Interests at left to begin. Connect with others who are researching the same family surnames, and share your stories with us at blog@irishgenealogical.org.
