Irish Petty Sessions Courts - Prison Registers
Another month has rolled by, and another 'Irish Saturday' is coming up at the MGS library on September 12. That means an IGSI class and/or time to research your family history using IGSI library resources with experienced volunteers.
IGSI researcher Audrey Leonard will be presenting a class on "Irish Petty Sessions Courts - Prison Registers." Petty sessions courts were the forerunners of today's small claims courts. Attend Audrey's class and discover what information is contained in these records.
