Here's a source for 4000 books and journals about Irish, Irish-Australian, Irish-American, and Irish-Canadian genealogy - all of which can be read online for FREE.  The site is http://freeirishgenebooks.blogspot.com/. Categories are Pedigrees, Family Histories, Diaspora, and Resources. A list of surnames from Family Histories, Pedigrees and Biographies is posted although it doesn't include many more names from Almanacs and Directories. All books linked on the site are believed to be "out of copyright" or otherwise available.

This is the work of Peter J. Clarke, whose objective is to build the biggest index of freely available eBooks on Irish history, biography and genealogy.
