Lots of announcements recently from findmypast.com, some good and some not-so-good. 1) Free weekend starts today and ends Monday, January 25, at 7 am (EST). Get started here: www.findmypast.com/freeweekend. 2) Beginning Tuesday, February 16, the 1939 Register will be free to World (and Britain) 12-month subscribers. These records became available last November but access carried an additional charge ("premium rate"). 3) Also effective February 16 is a 20% price increase for new subscriptions. A happy footnote for current 12-month subscribers is their next annual renewal will be frozen at current prices. If you're considering a findmypast annual membership, now would be a good time to study your options.
