Welcome to the Irish Genealogical Society International (IGSI).

We are a non-profit genealogical society dedicated to assisting our members and others in the discovery of their Irish ancestry. 

Founded over 30 years ago by a small group of people interested in sharing their knowledge, IGSI has since developed into a well respected Irish genealogical society with over 1,200 members in 10 countries, and an extensive library and research facility. 

The irish Genealogical Society International, Inc. is a Federal IRS 501c non-profit corporation.

IGSI is proud to be members of the Federation of Genealogical Societies, The Council of Irish Genealogical Organizations and the National Genealogical Society.
