Searching for any records of the late Mathew McElroy who came to Australia in 1817 onboard the vessel "Chapman" he was tall black hair, fair complexion, he was a labourer by trade and settled in N.S.W. Colony where he married a Sarah McGovern in 1824 by father Thierry they had only 1 daughter called Mary Ann. Mathew received a pardon at the time of fixing roads around Parramatta. Would like to know when he passed on as I can't find them both here, they may have returned to Ireland. Janet	Add Response
